The lone star state is a large and impressive state with many fun spots in its borders. If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids, pack up your bad and enjoy a couple of these places this year. Your first stop, with fun for everyone, is Six Flags over Texas. Located in Arlington, just outside of Dallas, you’ll have acres upon acres of the best roller coasters, kiddie rides, food, fun and entertainment shows to last you more than a day. Located in the same city is the indoor water park Great Wolf Lodge. Whether you want to spend the day lounging with a good book while the kids slide, splash and play or you want to be sliding down those slides with them, there’s fun for adults and children alike.
Fun spots in Texas aren’t limited to just Arlington, though. If you’re down near the coast in Corpus Christi, take time away from the beach to see the USS Lexington, a floating air craft carrier museum from WWII. This is a 16 story history lesson that children and adults will enjoy. For a light hearted evening adventure, try the Galaxy Glow Mini-Golf in Corpus Christi where everything on the course glows.
